Faith
All OTECE members are committed to offer altruistically our spiritual help, even if it is possible materially. We help daily in natural disasters, social problems, animal abuse or any emergency situation. Our commitment to the Order and to God makes us always alert and ready to help.
As members of a Christian and interreligious order, we are aware of the importance of prayer. We know that letting free will act without praying to the Father is like sailing a boat adrift at the mercy of the forces of nature and the laws of the universe.
Our prayers, spiritual actions and altruistic material aid to human beings and all living beings are part of us and of our daily lives, they are a sign of our personality. We are rediscovered souls ready to serve God again and to feel happy and fulfilled by this.
Our Creed
I believe in God,
my almighty Father,
creator of the universe,
and in Christ, his son,
the Holy Spirit, who lives in me,
and his angels, who guide
and protect me, now and forevermore,
and in Mary, the Queen of the angels,
mother of the only Jesus, and in the ONLY church of God.
I believe in the return to the Father and in the light that is inside me.
The Father and I are One,
one with the universe,
and one with all of its creatures,
forever and ever.
Amén.

Every Wednesday from our homes between 9 p.m. and midnight we pray the rosary to ask for help for those most in need.
We invite those who wish to pray the following rosary with us.
Short rosary of Mary, the Mother of God
(Can also be prayed as a long rosary with 3 rounds. The 2nd lap begins with the Hail Mary plus the first addition and ends with the fifth addition, as does the third lap).

1 x Our Father
Our Father, Creator of the universe, who resides within us. Through my actions I want to sanctify your name. May thy new kingdom grow within me and through me. Your will be done through my body and my spirit. Give us this day our daily bread for the spirit and the body. And forgive us our errors, for we know not what we do, as we forgive those who hurt us. And lead us by your angels on the path of knowledge. For yours is the universe and the love and the light, forever and ever. Amen.
3 x Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace, our Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus, may he light the love in our hearts. Holy Mary, Mother of God, queen of my heart, pray for us in our ignorance, now and in our hour of need. Cover us with your cloak to protect and shield us. Amen

Cathar text of 1148
The church of love
It does not live as a fixed form, but only by mutual agreement between people.
It has no members except those who feel they belong to it.
It has no competitors, because it does not compete.
It has no ambition, because it only desires to serve.
It does not set national boundaries, because that lacks love.
It does not isolate itself, for it seeks to enrich all groups and religions.
It respects all the great teachers of all ages who revealed the truth of love.
He who belongs to it, lives the truth of love with his whole being.
He who belongs to it knows it.
He does not try to instruct others; he only aspires to be there and to give through his presence.
He lives in the knowledge that the whole earth is a living being and we are a part of it. He knows that the time has come for the ultimate transformation; when we put away the self of our own free will and return to oneness.
It does not announce itself aloud, but acts in the subtle realms of existence.
It bows before all those who have illumined the path of love and who have sacrificed their lives for it.
Within its own ranks it allows neither hierarchies nor fixed structures, because no one is greater than the other.
It promises no rewards, neither in this life nor in the life hereafter, but only the joy of existence in love.
Its members recognise each other by the way they act, the way they stand and their eyes, and by no other visible gesture than the fraternal embrace.
They know neither fear nor shame and their testimony will always be valid, in good times as well as in bad.
The church of love has no secrets, no mysteries, no initiations, except the profound knowledge about the power of love and about the fact that the world will change if we men want it to, but only if we change ourselves first.
All who feel that they belong to it, belong to it.
They belong to the church of love.
Thoughts, philosophy and aims of the Essenes
An Essenian Master can see the love of the Father flowing through the Cosmos. He accepts his mission on earth and carries it out with absolute dedication. He is not oblivious to the world, but knows how to keep both feet on the ground. He knows what is essential in life because he is aware of its essence. He is not above things, but stands in the centre of them, so that he can experience and understand the true inner relationship of all events. He knows the three forms of creation. He knows that the creative force acts through our thoughts, our words and our deeds. He is aware that he can create good things, but also bad things, and that these are only good or bad based on our own evaluation. It knows that the most important thing in the universe is balance, the harmony between good and evil. It recognises that light cannot be light without shadow, and that everything has and needs to have its opposite pole. It lives in unity with all living structures and with all living beings. The deep respect he feels for the divine flame that dwells within humans and animals prevents him from mistreating defenceless creatures and causing them any harm or pain unnecessarily. He regards all living beings as a temple of the Heavenly Father. The earth and nature are for him like a living Mother, the mother helper who shelters and heals his body, mind and soul. He lives his life being aware of why and for what purpose he remains on earth. He recognises the fundamental principles of learning and accepts the law of compensation among all living beings. He knows that everything negative and sick only originates from disharmony. He has learned to recognise the different vibrations of matter and to harmonise them. His thoughts are not limited to his present life. He is able to see the progress of the world as a perpetual present, in which time – past, present and future – are one and held in divine harmony. He lives in constant union with all, so that he never feels alone or isolated; and he knows how to differentiate the imperishable from the transitory. His serene soul rests in the lap of the Father and he knows that the Father guides him through his Angels. For him, death is the first step on the way back to the Father, a birth that brings him back to the original Self. With his whole being, he offers the love of the Father, which always dwells within him, and along with that love he emanates patience, understanding and kindness with the placidity of the initiated.
